Here at White Barn Farm we are seeking part time CSA Liaisons to staff our CSA tent from May until late October. These are work for share positions. If you are interested, check out the description HERE. This is a great opportunity for someone who is interesting in trying out our Summer CSA Share.

Choice of Greens, you pick 2:

Super Salad Mix (Lettuce variety)
I don't always want to do the obvious thing with our veg. Take the wild ramps, the obvious thing would be to use it as a garlic/onion substitute in whatever I'm sautéing this week. But, I've been rewatching old seasons of the Great British Bake Show this spring and wild ramps just make me think about a bake that Ian Cummings baked. (As an aside, those of you who watch might remember him from the Nadiya Season - If you don't know which season I'm talking about, you need to rewatch too!) Soda bread with wild garlic (almost indistinguishable from our wild ramps). It doesn't seem like he was as taken with the recipe as I was, it is no where to be found on the internet but I found something similar for inspiration HERE. Yes, the recipe needs to be changed from British measurements and temperatures to ours but that is part of the fun. I think I might go a step further and change the whole thing to a savory biscuit as a side for my chicken dinner. Enjoy your cooking! - Jen G

Pick up Procedures for the Spring Share
Pick up on your scheduled day any time Wed 12 - 6 or Fri 12 - 6
Pick up will be on the tent side of the street. Directly across the street from 458 South St., Wrentham.
Pick up will be located under blue tent, next to the giant white tent where the Farmstand is set up.
Your items will be self serve so you can choose between options.
Please bring bags and boxes for your items to help us conserve.
We will have a board listing the items and the choices in the share.
Add on share items will be located in designated coolers.
Please check your name off the list when you pick up.
Our staff will be wearing masks. Please wear a mask when you pick up.
Please mind your distance from others and staff.
Due to the current public health crisis, all of our plans are fluid. We may have to change this plan if we feel it is not keeping people safe.
