June 21 & June 23

Follow Us on Facebook or Instagram

Hi Folks!

First and foremost - this is the Last Week to sign up for this year's Flower Share! Guarantee yourself 12 huge bouquets! All grown, right here on at White Barn Farm. Hand picked and put together each week by our specialized Flower team. We say guarantee, because we sell out of our other bouquets every week! This makes a wonderful gift too! Sign up today and treat yourself (or someone else) to Summer beauty all Summer long!

Looks like the first dry week in quite sometime. The weather is helping out our greens, kales, radishes etc...it does make it a bit slow on on some of our more summertime crops, but they are all on the horizon. We thank you all for support this Spring Share and looking forward to see you all back for Summer, Fall and Winter shares!~Farmer Chris

The Summer Share runs for 13 weeks from July 5th - September 29th. Same pick up times are available Wednesday or Friday between 10 and 6. Traveling? Gift that week to a friend or neighbor. Just give them the pick up details and they can pick up in your place. What can you expect in the Summer Share? It may contain tender salad greens, cooking greens, bok choy, Napa cabbage, cilantro, radishes, salad turnips, lettuce, and sugar snap peas like the spring share at first. Then tender bunching roots will start making the scene - carrots and beets. Then more substantial brassicas like cabbage and kohlrabi. Then the fruiting crops will join the mix - cucumbers, zucchini, eggplant, peppers, tomatoes, and more! New potatoes come in around mid-July. Head lettuces, fennel, radicchio, and summer salad mixes will be represented. There will usually be something from the onion family - scallions, fresh onions, shallots, onions, or garlic. And we try to include a fresh herb each week, too - usually parsley, cilantro, dill, basil, thyme, rosemary, or sage. Add On Shares are available for Summer too!

The Kitchen at White Barn We hope you stopped by for a delicious pizza when you picked up your Share last week, but if not, there are plenty to be had this week! Hot pies made by Chef Shawn with farm fresh, seasonal ingredients. The Kitchen's Summer hours will be Wednesday - Saturday from 11am - 8pm **subject to change with weather, special events & holidays. Check The Kitchen's website or Insta to stay up to date.
