Farmer Chris's Kohlrabi Potato Mash

The perfect side to any warm meal. Gluten-free and can be modified to be vegan.




Ingrediants

  • 2 Medium-sized heads Kohlrabi

  • 6 White Potatoes

  • 1 Head Garlic 

  • Salt & Pepper

  • Butter ( or Ghee or Coco Oil)

  • Milk of any choice

  • Thyme











Instructions

  1. Place a pot of water with salt and a head of garlic on the stove and begin to boil

  2. Peel Kohlrabi and Potatoes, and dice into medium-sized chunks

  3. Place Kohlrabi and Potatoes in boiling water and boil for 8-12 minutes until soft, or you can easily pierce a fork into potatoes/kohlrabi

  4. Remove from the stove and drain water from the pot

  5. Begin to mash and add your milk of choice to reach the consistency you desire. We used about ½ cup. 

  6. Sprinkle in thyme, season with salt, and enjoy!
