Winter Share 2023: Week 5

February 1 & 3

Follow Us on Facebook or Instagram

A note from Farmer Chris: We are trying our best to provide everyone with a wonderful assortment of goodies throughout the winter months. We just seeded more pea tendrils and plan on trying to produce our own micro greens as well to provide you all with a diverse amount of winter local produce.

We add the provision in the share to give you something to think and eat different during times of less diverse crops, the value of your shares is still hovering around $25/ box although it sometimes may seem like a little bit less food.

Thank you all for your support and next week will include some more culinary awakenings!!!

Cheese: Vermont Alpine Cheese - a traditional alpine cheese, Freedom Heights is named for the plot of rugged mountain terrain our farm calls home. Alpine cheeses are known for their “terroir” or taste of place - the culmination of environmental variables like soil type, topography, and climate, that make up a specific geographical location. At Sweet Rowen, we strive to provide our herd with the best possible forage and milking practices in an effort to express our own unique terroir. Sweet Rowen Farmstead
