Kick off the growing season this Earth Day at White Barn Farm’s EarthFest!
It’s opening day at the farm and our annual Earth Day Celebration, where we greet the warming sun, reconnect with our community, and enjoy the sweet rewards of early harvests!
We are looking forward to a busy day of farm fresh food, great live music, artisan goods and free games and activities for the whole family. The Radish Rambler kicks-off the celebration with a 5K trail walk/run/hike race through the farm and Wrentham’s scenic conservation land at 9:00am.
Pricing:
Entrance into EarthFest and all games and activities are free! Parking is available for a $20 suggested donation per car. Walking/biking to the event is encouraged!
About White Barn Farm:
White Barn Farm is a small vegetable farm and farm stand located in Wrentham, Massachusetts. We endeavor to provide and preserve open land and food security for our community. We strive to accomplish this mission in many ways including cultivating and selling high quality, diversified, organically grown produce, maintaining and offering our open spaces to our community, providing education on the importance of local agriculture and accessible green spaces, and nurturing our staff to grow as employees and individuals. Our goal is to grow White Barn Farm as an environmentally, economically, and socially responsible business for future generations to enjoy. Community Corner:
On Saturday, April 27th from 10:00am - 4:00pm, White Barn Farm will be celebrating Earth Day. The farm will be bursting with food, fun, and folks from the community. We will have a full farm stand, plants for sale, a local artisan market, live music, a 5K trail race, and an array of free activities for families. We are expecting upwards of 300 people!
We would like to invite your organization to participate in our event with a free table in our Community Corner, where you can promote your cause, recruit, fundraise, etc! We will list your organization on the event’s web and social media pages. In exchange, we ask two favors: 1- would you help us to advertise our event to your subscribers; and 2- would you assist us in our search for volunteers for the event by sharing our volunteer sign up link?
