Ideas for your share...
Pinch and Swirl has a great primer on Romano Beans with their recipe for Romano Beans with Shallots and Bacon!
Great idea for preserving your tomatoes for those lean times, aka most of the year, when you can't get farm fresh tomatoes. Here's what I do: Wash tomatoes and cut to be reasonably sized - for me, that's halving my sauce tomatoes and at least quartering everything else. Place on a cookie sheet and put in a low oven for as long as you can stand it. I'm basically removing as much water as I can from them until I get hot or tired of listening to my oven fan - at least 2 hours. Then I take them out of the oven and let cool until I can handle them. Place them in a freezer bag in one layer, take another cookie sheet and place the bag on it and put it in your freezer. Your tomatoes will freeze in a way that will be easy to take a little or a lot when you are making your recipes - Plus your bag will be nice and flat, great for keeping them organized in your overflowing freezer (wait, maybe that's only my freezer!) Sub them in for anything that calls for canned tomatoes. Your winter chilis, soups and sauces will thank you! - JG
Reminder: Add-on shares: bread, eggs, cheese, mushrooms and meat are paid for separately from the veggies share. If you would like to be part of our add on shares, please sign up and pay using the QR codes at the farmstand or HERE.

2 Ficelle loaves - We've ordered in 3 types, please choose 2, 1 Delmonico Steak, Lion's Mane Mushrooms, 1 dozen Eggs, and Queso Blanco Cheese - Narragansett Creamery describes their cheese: A version of farmers’ cheese, our Queso Blanco is clean, crisp and full of bouncy texture. Baste it in olive oil then put it on the grill or under the broiler. It gets soft and crispy but doesn't melt.
*All Add-Ons are subject to producer availability.
And the Farmstand is Open for any edible additions to your share, plus we have plants, potting soil, and/or compost for your gardens!
Summer Farmstand Hours: Tues - Sat 9am-6pm
