Korean Beef Lettuce Wraps

1 head of lettuce, leaves peeled

2c cooked white or brown rice

Steak tips, sirloin, or top round steak sliced thinly

2T soy sauce

2t sesame oil

2t crushed garlic

2T brown sugar

1T rice wine or Mirin

Cucumber salad (see Japanese Cucumber Salad recipe)

Thinly sliced carrots

Sriracha or other hot sauce

Mix rice wine, brown sugar, garlic, and sesame oil.  Place sliced beef in the mix.  Marinate for at least an hour or overnight.  Just before cooking, about 30 minutes prior, add the soy sauce to the mix.  Ideal if grilled, but can be cooked on the stove as well.  Cook until browned, being careful not to overcook.  Place sliced meat, cucumber salad, rice, carrot, and hot sauce in a lettuce leaf and enjoy!
