Mint-tea Punch

3 C boiling water
12 springs fresh mint
4 tea bags - non flavored
1 C sugar
1 C orange juice
1/4 C lemon juice
5 C cold water
orange and lemon slices for garnish (optional)

Place tea bags and mint sprigs in a large pitcher. Pour boiling water over them and steep for 8 minutes. Remove and discard bags and mint, squeezing out excess liquid.
Stir in sugar until dissolved; stir in orange and lemon juices. Pour in cold water. Serve over ice cubes and garnish with slices of oranges and lemons.

Other Uses for Mint
You may also add mint leaves to water in ice cube trays and freeze to make ice cubes to add to iced tea or lemonade for a clean minty flavor.
