Fresh Spinach and Golden Yolk Birchwold Eggs! That's what's for dinner (and/or lunch & breakfast) after you stop by the second-to-last Tuesday Winter Market at the Foxboro Y! Chat it up with Farmer Chris 3:30-7:00pm tomorrow. In addition to spinach this week, we will have Birchwold Farm eggs, a limited amount of shallots and red onions, hot sauce and White Barn Farm merchandise! Mike's Micros will be at our table too! He grew micro greens, pea shoots, and baby herbs to enhance our offerings. And, if you want to bring along a check to pay for your CSA Share or to reload or purchase your Farmstand CSA Card, you can save yourself a stamp. Jordan Brothers Seafood truck is there, a BBQ food truck, and a couple of other vendors are in this indoor location with a real, certified parking lot! The market is open to the public!

What a beautiful sunshine day! Perfect for working in the greenhouse! The breeze outside is chilly, but inside the greenhouse it is hot t-shirt weather. Below is the greenhouse before the trays have sprouted with our mascot pet olive tree waving to you in the breeze of the circulation fans.

Onions have begun to sprout on the heat mats!

Arugula and mustard mix are coming up in the large high tunnel.

Radishes and Salad Turnips are Coming along in the small high tunnel. And At last!! the carrots seeded in between rows of spinach are starting to emerge - from a February 6th planting!

We are psyched to have the Vacuum Seeder in action this year! Yay efficiency!

That's all for now! Thanks for following along with the farm and hope to see you tomorrow!
