Mothers Day Weekend

Posted 5/11/2017 8:55pm by Christy and Chris Kantlehner.

Happy Mother's Day weekend everyone! Three pieces of news:

  • CLOSED for Mother's Day (weather looks frightful - perfect for lazy breakfast/brunch time!)
  • Open until 4pm this Saturday, May 13th.
  • Tool Sharpening Workshop with expert Brian Huckins is still on! Get yourself empowered! Saturday morning, 10am to 12pm. $25 - save your spot @ signupgenius
  • We are again offering the Flower CSA! And it would make a superb mother's day gift! as would a Farmstand Gift Card!
  • We have plenty of fixings to make an all-local homemade meal for your mom, or a mom you know (I'm talking to you, partners of moms with kids too small to know about Mother's Day!)
  • We have lots of plants (and potting soil!) that could be planted into a container to make a neato edible planter! All spring, we have been dreaming up combos and starting new stuff from seed for this purpose! Keep an eye out for White Barn Farm Edible Planters when they finally materialize!

Hi folks! This is Erina, the Office Assistant at White Barn Farm, reporting this week's updates to give Super-Mom-Extraordinaire Farmer Christy a much needed reprieve from the behind-the-scenes work at the farm. Being a mom myself, it's inspiring to be around this beautiful farm and wonderful family and, especially, support them during a much needed holiday (for both of us) this weekend. Speaking of, we have lots in store for one excellent day of market shopping this weekend!
